Implementation of the Curriculum for Excellence and the situation in the upper stages of school and post-school figure prominently in the conference programme for 2008. The content of each seminar session has been organised so that participants can fit in at least one CfE talk whilst pursuing their other interests in the remaining sessions. Similar arrangements have been made for those whose concerns are with post-16 study, ICT, and individual language specialisms.
We are delighted that the Minister for Schools and Skills, Maureen Watt MSP, will be a keynote speaker at the opening ceremony, along with our honorary president, Professor Sir David Edward KCMG QC.
